ActiveSustainability role: Lead consultant for detailed project assessment and development of supporting documentation and technical data to address ED standards.
The Consultancy Brief identified a two-phase approach:
Phase One is a first pass assessment of the project to determine where the project sits including a detailed review of all available project reports and documentation, facilitated workshop and review meetings with the project team, and an assessment of the project for all the six ED elements to determine likelihood to achieve certification and recommendations for necessary actions to address the ED criteria.
Phase Two, the compiling and completion of technical worksheets and all supporting documentation and application documentation and lodgement with UDIA, including necessary liaising with the project team and UDIA personnel.
Additional tasks to support the ED requirements includes the development of built form design standards or single and multi-unit residential developments.
Broome North has been awarded certification for four ED elements – Ecosystem, Energy, Water and Community.
